SUP trip in Vietnam jungles. Apocalypse Now? Not really, although Vietnam jungle and anxiety of the unknown ahead. But the clear warm lake water, magnificent scenery and nature, lack of people provoke to total relaxation. The only reason why no SUP boards on thepictures - was only SUP board, not the company. Apocalypse tolerated. Wellcome!

Its ~ 60km from MuiNe, famous tourist place. So, if you plan trip there and have iSUP - you have good options to travel!

Take a unique trip across the sea, between the colorful boats in the fishing village. SUP boarding is the one of the only ways you can cruise amongst the fishing boats at leisure. It allows you to quietly approach the schooners and safely look into the working life of the fisherman at arm's length. In contrast to a museum, here everything can be felt and touched!

      What are the benefits?
      a) Immersion in to the working life of a fisherman. Far from your hotel you’ll have a wonderful chance to see a part of the original Mui Ne. This area has not been modified for the benefit of tourists and is therefore truly intriguing!
      b) A better understanding of Vietnamese culture and traditions.
      c) The relaxing experience of standing on water and being your own captain, whilst giving your body a full core work out at your own speed.
The instructor will do his best to tailor each trip to try and suit all members of the group!

      What is the cost?
The cost of the trip - $ 30 or 650,000 VND per person.

What is included in the price:
      Equipment (SUP + paddles)
      Life jacket (if required)
Experienced English or Russian speaking instructor as a guide.
      Photos from the route.

What do I need to bring?
Sunblock, swimwear (falling in the water is very much a possibility), and drinking water. Possessions that won’t tolerate getting wet (I-phones, cameras etc…) are best left at home.

      When does it take place?
Because the trip is dependent on calm weather conditions we cannot guarantee we can run a trip every day. Therefore it is necessary to coordinate a day in advance. For the same reason the trip will take place early (8-10am).
On the appointed day / time we will go as a group (2-4 people) from Manta Sail Training Centre, where you can lock up your valuables and have a quick briefing before venturing out in to the intriguing unknown world of Vietnamese fishing life.
The trip takes about two hours. Getting familiar and stable on a SUP board can take about 20-30 minutes at the beginning of the trip.

Where does it start and end?
Manta Sail Training Centre is the base - located directly near the fishing village of Mui Ne. If you are coming from the main hotels area, then it’s approximately 5 km on the right (beach) side, where you have a view of the sea. Continue after Surf4you Windsurf station, past the area with no shops and guesthouse and eventually you will come to Manta.
